So you inspected ls.c and stat.c found in \src\coreutils\5.3.0\coreutils-5.3.0-src\src at http://skylink.dl.sourceforge.net/project/gnuwin32/coreutils/5.3.0/coreutils-5.3.0-src.zip and you found nothing? I do not speak C, if you found nothing i can bale out! L* There are no rules, there are no thumbs.. Reinvent the wheel, then learn The Wheel; may be one day you reinvent one of THE WHEELS. Those both in detail and greped every other file for a variety of possibilities, and found nothing likely.
