    I couldn't possibly agree more. The syntax if regexes is probably responsible for a good 40% of the complaints about Perl looking like 'line noise', and while I'm comfortable diving in and learning odd syntaxes, this style looks much more readable, and hence more maintainable, to me.

    Nice find, how can we get this into Perl 6? :-)
