I think there's a difference in contributing to the site as a user and managing the site, in terms of code/systems or policy. I don't think it's fair to equate the two. I doubt BrowserUK treats the XP system seriously, and IIRC has even pointed out flaws in doing so.

I am a user here, nothing more. I have no admin privileges here, and never have had.

I'd offer you some vinegar with those chips; but you seem sour enough already.

how do you know responsibility was declined or are you making not volunteering equivalent? XP is the measure of all things, everyone knows

What I am saying is, if there is an issue with "right to be forgotten" laws, surely that issue is the responsibility of all the Monks, who have built this Monastery and to whom it belongs. At least, the most senior Monk could have raised it as a group discussion rather than asking what some fairy godmother "Management" is going to do about it.

The way forward always starts with a minimal test.

In fact, when I raised the issue in Proposed EU law: right to be forgotten, BrowserUK contributed - I thought helpfully - to the discussion. S/he is NOT the "most senior monk". If such an individual exists, it's Tim Vroom. Even if s/he were, why would there be any duty to raise any subject?

        Regards,

        John Davies

If I had any influence here, this place would be quite different...But it is, and always has been, cliquocratic; and I don't fit.
