Use SHA-3. http://valerieaurora.org/hash.html Nice table of statistics. Thanks. SHA-2 still unbroken, but SHA-3 looks promising for now. SHA-2 had similar STRONG record as SHA-3 for the same number of years since inception. I used SHA-256, but there is also SHA-384 and SHA-512 in the SHA-2 Family.
