    Hey, the KJV Bible makes for great test data: logically partitioned into 66 Books, and 1189 Chapters (and their verses). In the Public Domain. Easily obtainable. Easily verifiable. And it was easy to make 8369 copies of it to populate a 128-GIG test file to try out the random access indexing capabilities, and verify the results.

    No I am not some MAD SCIENTIST performing vivisections upon poor defenseless Scripture verses.
