ThePiggyMan 33 has asked for the wisdom of the Perl Monks concerning the following question:

Tried to install Wx with starberry perl on Windows 10, and it fails to install. Other posts indicate that there isn't any Wx on Windows 10 64-bit. It mentions a couple errors on line 400 something about a back tic. How can I get Wx to install without force. Don't recommend dwimperl either, please.

Testers show some successful builds on Windows 10 with Strawberry perl.

I had a build problem there, too, and this solved it: https://rt.cpan.org/Public/Bug/Display.html?id=129768 In short, you have to edit C:\Strawberry\cpan\build\Wx-0.9932-1\cpp/wxapi.h (verxion numbers may differ) inserting the following line after line 133: #undef calloc Then run make make test and make install and you're fine.
