I don't have any helpful suggestions because getting the job done depends on very specific details of the compilers used for the code you are calling and possibly for the compiler use for compiling the Perl you are using. The details of the source for the code you are calling may also be important. There are too many variables for me to help without a lot more information, and possibly not even then. Optimising for fewest key strokes only makes sense transmitting to Pluto or beyond	[reply]
