I notice you're new around here jamesk (welcome to the Monastery, by the way!), so if this isn't a one-off question and you're still listening, I'd be willing to fix this issue, as well as other blatant warnings to push back to the CPAN, so long as you'll hang around and test it in a real environment.

    Hi Stevie,

    TLDR: I am available and happy to do whatever needs to be done.

    To be very generous to my job title, I'm a Perl developer on a piece of software called EPrints. Any opportunity to learn more would be brilliant. I've only been in this post for a year and while I've learnt a lot I have a lot further to go.

      I'll then send you details of the changes when I make them so you'll understand what's been done, have you test it, then I'll attempt to contact the original author to see if we can't get the fixes/updates pushed onto the CPAN.

      I can't see it being later today or tomorrow sometime at the latest.

        Stevieb, did this get updated? I just tried to install Net::Google::DataAPI::Auth::OAuth2, and see the same issue.
