xiaoyafeng has asked for the wisdom of the Perl Monks concerning the following question:
Below is a snippet in Devel::Peek documents:
I found XOK(X would be P, I, N etc.) always follow a pXOK. I looked up perldoc, say XOK means public data, pXOK means private data. But what does it really mean? Please enlighten me, Thanks Regards,use Devel::Peek; $a = 42; $a = "hello"; Dump $a; The output: SV = PVIV(0xbc288) at 0xbe9a8 REFCNT = 1 FLAGS = (POK,pPOK) IV = 42 PV = 0xb2048 "hello"\0 CUR = 5 LEN = 8
I am trying to improve my English skills, if you see a mistake please feel free to reply or /msg me a correction
