    I'm wondering why a mobile version of PerlMonks is a thing.

    It was more of an issue some years ago, but it seems fine. Looks and functions the same on a modern phone as on a computer.

    The newline thing is also the same, though slightly less of a nuisance on a computer.

    I might be interested if There seemed a real need, but actually, when I happen across a mobile version of a website, I switch to the full version. It usually looks and functions better on a mobile device than the somewhat crippled mobile version.
