Thanks for persisting and getting it down to an SSCCE.

However, as with bliako in 11114313, I cannot reproduce it on my system.

I am running Strawberry perl 5.28.0, and Devel::NYTProf 6.06.

What systems and versions are you running again? Is it under Apache?

There's nothing obvious in perldelta for 5.28, but maybe the dot in inc removal in 5.26 is related to the module updates between 2.04 and 2.14? There is nothing specific in the module changes file, but maybe some of the code changes are an indicator (or PR 9 and the autosplit changes).	[reply]
