Have you tried specifying ssl_version as in the documentation?

Also, if you haven't read the documentation you might not know that Mail::Sender is deprecated.

Yes, I am aware that Mail::Sender is deprecated and we will switch to another solution on the long run. For new, having TLS 1.2 with Mail::Sender would help a lot.	[reply]
