Download the repo as a zip file, try to extract under Windows, it'll report a bunch of problems caused by 'invalid' characters in filenames.

Using the built in Windows (7) tool, the first file that goes wrong is Circos_links_mtDNA-Server_1:100_v3.7.txt. Update: https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/win32/fileio/naming-a-file	[reply]

See Heteroplasmy_assemblies_mtDNA-Server_1:100_v3.7.fasta for an example file that contains a colon in its filename.	[reply]

Oww thanks, my windows or linux doesn't report, it just extracts. These files are not important, just results from a paper I had to put online. But thanks for reporting, I will change those file names now..	[reply]
