Hello toohoo,
For one-liners, you have to quote the script; on Windows, that means double quotes (single quotes on *nix):
perl -e "use Cwd; print getcwd();"
Note that you can also specify a module via the -M flag:
perl -MCwd -e "print getcwd();"
