Thank you Blake. I got my question answered, thanks to the first person to respond, who pointed out that

it was not Perl anyway.
As the the non-descriptive title, I don't know.

It is my password, but don't know how it got there.
REason for saying I did not want to learn Perl is

because whenever I go to a site with techies, people assume anyone accessing is also a techie, rather than

a mere mortal (grin) who wants to learn enough to be able to do something but not have to make the investment in learning a whole new thing. But

point taken.
As to spam smell (I am a vegetarian), I said

in the beginning "The purpose: An online petition, which can easily be modified to send a protest letter to a

public official, newspaper. I have a left wing site.
But i realize it may not have been clear.
