I maintain that anyone up voting this toxic behaviour is both driving away (or worse) new and established users of this forum
It's a bit of a stretch to assert that the 2 up voters were "up voting this toxic behaviour".
All they did was to upvote an apparently benign (though opaque) post from an
Anonymous Monk.
The irony is that, IMHO, the reactions of you (and others) to the postings of this
Anonymous Monk, provide far greater incentives for him to continue posting, than any number of up votes could ever provide. (This guy gets no satisfaction at all from upvotes - but he does love to see chatter and squawk and disharmony.)
If you truly want him to go away, then you have to stop feeding him.
