Perlbrew macOS M1

Anonymous Monk has asked for the wisdom of the Perl Monks concerning the following question:

I am trying to use Perlbrew on a new macOS M1 machine, and I am failing

Installation is performed by \curl -L https://install.perlbrew.pl | bash, which seems to work fine.

I add the usual source ~/perl5/perlbrew/etc/bashrc to my ~/.bash_profile, in my case with touch ~/.bash_profile; open ~/.bash_profile

But when I open a new Terminal window, perlbrew is not recognized (zsh: command not found: perlbrew). Am I overseeing something?

I guess zsh doesn’t know anything about your bash_profile… «The Crux of the Biscuit is the Apostrophe»	[reply]

This pointed me to the right direction. Solved with: `\curl -L https://install.perlbrew.pl \| bash touch ~/.zprofile; open ~/.zprofile` [download] And adding: `source ${HOME}/perl5/perlbrew/etc/bashrc` [download]	[reply] [d/l] [select]
