did you check perlrecharclass and do you expect also to get a list of characters from the shown intersection operations?

Added an example for you. (which actually runs a lot faster than I expected, but is still very inefficient) And I don't really need intersections. perlrecharclass doesn't seem to mention any API for querying perls internal tables.	[reply]

other linked perldocs in that doc are much more specific what each char-class includes, but I didn't want to go into details. See https://perldoc.perl.org/perluniprops#Properties-accessible-through-%5Cp%7B%7D-and-%5CP%7B%7D for instance. If your requirements are really so general, my best idea is to cache the filtering - like choroba already suggested in the meantime.
