You cannot explicitly constrain the system to any particular behavior ...
The thread seems to show several ways to explicitly constrain Perl (which I assume to be "the system") to very particular behavior.
Can you give an example of Perl code that has essentially random behavior (and that doesn't involve rand :), i.e., that cannot be constrained to any particular behavior?
