Yes, I should note as a disclaimer that I am a Perl beginner, so this code will need a lot of improvement. But it demonstrates how to create a BMP file quickly. I might write a ReadBMP() sub next year! (When I write or modify a sub that I have written earlier, I always put a date stamp in the description. That way I know if it is recent version or if it needs to be updated.)	[reply]
