ibm1620 has asked for the wisdom of the Perl Monks concerning the following question:
Perltidy (ver 20220613) currently doesn't handle the v5.36 for_list syntax.
Running perltidy -npro:
Before:
After:#!/usr/bin/env perl use v5.36; no warnings q/experimental::for_list/; for my ( $k, $v ) ( %ENV ) { say "$k=$v"; } say "Done";
Does its experimental status mean that it won't be supported by perltidy? Are there .perltidyrc settings to keep it from removing the line break following the closing bracket?#!/usr/bin/env perl use v5.36; no warnings q/experimental::for_list/; for my ( $k, $v ) (%ENV){ say "$k=$v"; } say "Done";
Thanks!
