Also pleased to see your coding style seems to closely match mine, for example:

• Use spaces not tabs (see also this LanX-led interesting recent spaces vs tabs discussion).
• Not a fan of crack-pipe debugging sessions.
• Generally, I've long emphasized Maintainability over "Readability".
• All POD at the bottom of the file. I feel the POD at the end of the file is for the user of the module while the comment blocks intermingled with the code are for the maintainer of the module (e.g. see Re^2: flower box comments).
