Forcing an install isn't always wise, especially if you don't understand why it's failing. The testers matrix has passes for Strawberry perl, where the prerequisites are satisfied.

Yes, probably not the best decision, to run the forced install. However, prior to running the forced install, I suspected it may fail, as syphilis had noted prior, "Those tests apparently fail because java.exe cannot be found:". So - on another computer - plan on looking into ensuring that java.exe is on the computer prior to the install.	[reply]
