Excellent! Olaf Alders is going to be speaking .. I've been talking with Richard Dice in advance of this event, but I don't believe he'll be attending. On the Slack channel, someone mentioned demerphq -- but last they'd heard he was in the Far East, and unlikely to attend.

Excellent! I was a fairly seasoned C developer when I started writing Perl, so -- my early Perl code looks very C-like. I grabbed onto the Toronto Perl Monger events like a drowning rat, because I needed learn, and fast. We've got quite a lineup of talks prepared.
