Somewhere in one of the perl internals/XS/API/GUTS docs there is a section on CLONE or preventing cloning or somesuch, but I can't find it?

    I remember a section on CLONE in perlmod, the "Making your module threadsafe" section. Maybe this is the section you are looking for?
