in reply to Missing 'in reply to...' And 'in thread....'

It's just happened again with Re: Can I get help with Perl glob for filtering a directory. Previewed OK, submitted OK, doesn't appear in the thread (yet). I won't touch it for now so we can see what happens (will the content disappear? will it get attached to the thread later?).

    Almost an hour later (~55 mins) it's still empty (just "Rep" voting radiobuttons).

    Update: I tried a few things:

    • reloaded several times
    • voted on other nodes in thread
    • approved the thread
    • upvoted your node

    Your node remained empty throughout (now 65mins since you posted it). Radiobuttons replaced with "Reputation: 1".

      Corion reparented it to the thread at some point. I've just looked at it now and there was again no content, so I've restored that as best I could. The node rep is now zero, so it I don't know if your vote has counted or not but thanks for it anyway!

        As I noted: 'it's still empty (just "Rep" voting radiobuttons)'; then, after upvoting (in the Update), 'Radiobuttons replaced with "Reputation: 1"' — so it looks like my vote did count at that point.

        Some time later, I checked it again: still no content but now 'Reputation: 0'. I guessed someone had downvoted an empty node being unaware of this thread.

        I've just had another look. I see content and 'Reputation: 2'. I do note that it's missing your signature 🦛.
