Joolz, my partner, had the chickens before we met. We'd probably still have them if she hadn't left the coop door open the night Mr Fox came visiting... I imagine you rank behind Joolz in your household's pecking order ... and that Joolz was out on that fateful night, attending a hen party. Bod, you're no spring chicken, but why didn't you chase the fox away? ... would have been a feather in your cap ... were you outfoxed or too chicken?
