in reply to Are blessings a new thing?

Thanks for asking. I was confused as well. But i got my SiteDocClan permissions around the same time, so i was not sure if it was a new feature or just something old that i now could see thanks to changes to my user account.

And i was a bit shy to ask, because i hadn't had time yet to RTFM.

One of my weaknesses is that I do ask questions. :) I've been away from the site for a while, so didn't feel too much of a noob to ask the question. Turned out it was a good question. Who knew.

Some people don't like that about me .. I've had a few bosses say things like, "Just figure it out yourself!", and I always think, Sure, I can do that, but wouldn't it be faster if someone walked me through a few things?

Maybe this would be better in a Meditation.

Edit:: Just created What is the right amount of onboarding?.

Thanks PJ. We owe you so much. Groklaw -- RIP -- 2003 to 2013.

      Looking forward to it.

I hope more bosses nowadays appreciate the vital importance of Psychological Safety, discussed in more detail here, which notes that a large-scale Google study found that Psychological Safety is, by far, the single most important factor in successful teamwork.
