I'm rather surprised that the percentages are greater than 100%; this is not someone usually sees. Is this a bug in the search function or is it something intentional?

What I find weird is when I type the word "jpeg" in search box, it brings up this page: https://perlmonks.com/?node=jpeg instead of search results for the word jpeg. When I enter the word jpg, it acts normally and shows the list as expected. I have experienced this weird behavior with other words as well, but I can't remember which ones.	[reply]

You are talking about the "search" box at the upper left corner, the thread is about super search But yeah, this box does ?node=whatsoever and if there is no node 'whatsoever', it'll delegate to super search.
