Well, you were not totally wrong, you just referenced the wrong set of dimensions. 300m/s is about right for the speed of light on Terry Pratchett's Discworld, due to the high intensity of its magic field ;-) Do you currently live in Ankh-Morpork and access PerlMonks through our Clacks/L-Space gateway?
