in reply to Regression: Deactivated quips show in CB, even in alarm colors

The style was set to "warning" since 2022. For the time being, I've removed that style from the monk quips.

I don't know if something with the CSS was changed or if the quips appear for some other reason.

    Because it's weird:

    if (htmlcode('parseTimeInString', '', ('')x3, '%m-%d') eq '05-01' and not $VARS->{nosenseofhumor})

    nosenseofhumor comes from user settings for "No April Foolery"

    But today is the first of Mai not of April ==> '04-01'

    Deduced on a mobile phone in a sunny beer garden with the help of view-source: in the URL. :)

    Update

    It's hard to suggest a fix without knowing the intention.

    But the date is most probably wrong, unless international workers day is supposed to be a joke in the US. (... hmm, wait 🤔)

    Looks like "No April Foolery" is a misnomer, too.

    I made that change. Prior to that, the style was hardcoded for red foreground text, since a change on 2009-05-01. I didn't like the idea of having hardcoded colors. The warning class was already in use in a different place in that code. But I agree, in retrospect, my change in 2022 was not the best...
