Did you try the ID 3628 and re-logged in again?

Edit

Probably some kind of form evaluation /\d*/ wouldn't be bad.

And adding the word "ID" to the label.

Ok I tried to re Login and I'm shown a bunch of popular targets.

Hey. Glad you're back. Would you like to go to your home node, to The Monastery Gates, to Newest Nodes, to Recently Active Threads, to XXX or back to Login? Or perhaps you want to ask a Perl question?

Here the last-2 option is the page I've configured in settings.

I agree that's not what I thought it does.

But it doesn't bother me either. :)

Thank you for trying it out. :-)

As I said above, the setting is currently only respected in the Log In page. The plan is to have it respected in other places as well. Do you have any ideas where it could be used?

(That's actually a little bit of a lie. It is also respected in Update Userspace Links, but I don't mention it because that page is restricted to members of pmdev.)

        Hello and thanks,

        > Do you have any ideas where it could be used?

I supposed it had to be the default page, so also to be used for empty node id like /index.pl? and /index.pl?node_id= and also for invalid or not existant pages like /index.pl?node=Discipulus Bedroom

I tried what LanX said and yes, after logout and login I found what I put among options.

Maybe the description should be preffered default page (node ID)

From your description I understood we'll automatically land on the preferred page after login.

That would be RAT in my case, which is already listed in your welcome page.

I don't really see much benefit tho, most regulars able to change the settings keep being logged in anyway

        HTH:)
