Perhaps some other crowd has legitimately purchased the intellectual property of the previous licensors. Consult your legal team before proceeding further.

    I have tried to find the original people from elsop who closed shop in 2010 and contacted the company using LinkScan™ now (not the same ppl or software). i've had the script since 2002 (upgrading as it came out) and used it for years on several sites (3 legit keys) then stopped for 10 years and now want to use it again

      I don't know anything about that software. But it sounds like a software that connects to the internet and is 14 years old.

      For one thing, i don't think it will be ABLE to connect to most things in the internet, because encryption standards have changed and the old algorithms don't work anymore due to security problems.

      HTTP has also been updated, and websites have transitioned from HTML4 to HTML5.

      Sorry to say this, but even if this was the best software in its category¹ back then, it's now utter garbage full of security holes.

      ¹ Although i don't know the software, i can assume the company going under meant that the software probably wasn't all that good after all and didn't attract many paying customers...
