    Ah! Thank you. And I can remember thinking, wow, are all of these people going to reassemble on a new server? But they did. Entire communities upped stakes and moved to the new place. Boom, gone.

    Well, MariaDB popped up once MySQL went away, and that seems to have gone well -- I'm using it on a project right now, and it's great.
