Well-known Perl author Dave Cross will be giving a talk titled Still Data Munging with Perl at 4pm Toronto time (8pm London time), on March 27, 2025. The lu.ma event page is here; please register!

Like the Randall Schwartz event, this will be a virtual event. A link will be posted to the page once we have that organized.

PS There are currently 134 people signed up for Randall's talk. I figured we'd be doing well if we got 25 people. The Perl community is so cool.

Thanks PJ. We owe you so much. Groklaw -- RIP -- 2003 to 2013.

Hello, I'm new in town. I enjoyed this talk and am looking forward to the updated book. It was mentioned during the stream that it would be available to view again at a later time. I was wondering, when it becomes available where would I be able to find this? Would there be a message sent to those who participated or is there a youtube channel these videos typically end up at? Thanks for any help.

Welcome! Glad you enjoyed the talk. I've rendered the video and shared it with Josh, who will add it to the TPRF Youtube channel in the next day or two. That channel is here -- the name currently reflects the next conference, taking place in Greenville, SC. The previous talk (December, 2024) with Randal Schwartz is here.

For a long time, I had a link in my .sig going to Groklaw. I heard that as of December 2024, this link is dead. Still, thanks to PJ for all your work, we owe you so much. RIP Groklaw -- 2003 to 2013.
