in reply to Perlmonks: How deplorable can it get ?

The XML says it's "locked"

Couldn't check janitation or moderation history because they timed out.

If it wasn't caused by a moderator it's either an automatic anti-spam/abuse mechanism or a glitch because of the currently excessive load (or most likely a combination of both)

Anyway, you are long enough around here (20 years!), why don't you check all of this by yourself before using such a "deplorable" title???

And please don't use links that log us out.

UPDATE

Finally could have a look into moderation history aka displaytype=approvalhistory; ...

... some(thing/one) tried to move the node to a non-existent section. This kind of action is certainly a reason for locking.

You are misinterpreting what you see there. What this is showing is that the post has been approved into the SOPW section. The way that's done is, two directional links — one for each direction — of type "perlquestion approved linktype" are created, linking the node to the section and vice versa.

It's a crappy system, and tye was working on a replacement before he went on indefinite hiatus.
