A PM rewrite (proof of concept)

Hello monks,

This is a project I started working on in late October, before I knew that there's already a rework project in progress, i.e. Taking advantage of E2 improvements

It is an old idea, but got some new life from Ideas for PerlMonks 2.0 (nearly a year ago).

The code (which is a very small slice of what PM does) is in GitHub:

Imagine my surprise, delight and horror as I went to check the demo, only to see my own rather lame little comment thread as part of your demo. Anyway, it looks good. I'll have to look at the code, as soon as I finish off the other 99 projects I've got going. :) Alex / talexb / Toronto As of June 2025, Groklaw is back! This site was a really valuable resource in the now ancient fight between SCO and Linux. As it turned out, SCO was all hat and no cattle.Thanks to PJ for all her work, we owe her so much. there's already a rework project in progress, i.e. Taking advantage of E2 improvements I don't think it's accurate to say that that project is in progress. At best it's premature. I applaud your efforts and I hope to see them come to fruition.	[reply]
