Terminology has to be logical, consistent and (ideally) non redundant, but not "fancy".¹ :)

Aliasing is the correct term, you might differentiate between

• loop aliasing ( foreach ) ,
• argument aliasing ( @_ ) and
• (explicit) symbol table aliasing (typeglobs)

, but that's hardly needed.
