#!/usr/bin/perl
use CGI qw(:all);
#use CGI::Carp qw(warningsToBrowser fatalsToBrowser);
use strict;
print header;
print start_html({-head => meta({
-http_equiv => 'refresh', CONTENT=> '1;url=' . param('URL') }),
-title => "This page has moved!"
});
print end_html;
To test it, uncomment the carp command and you call it from the commandline like so:
perl example.cgi URL=http://127.0.0.1:8080
If all goes well, you get output similar to:
Content-Type: text/html; charset=ISO-8859-1
<!DOCTYPE html
PUBLIC "-//W3C//DTD XHTML 1.0 Transitional//EN"
"http://www.w3.org/TR/xhtml1/DTD/xhtml1-transitional.dtd">
<html xmlns="http://www.w3.org/1999/xhtml" lang="en-US" xml:lang="en-U
+S">
<head>
<title>This page has moved!</title>
<meta http-equiv="refresh" content="1;url=http://127.0.0.1:8080" />
<meta http-equiv="Content-Type" content="text/html; charset=iso-8859-1
+" />
</head>
<body>
</body>
And now you can test in in the browser and such... keep in mind you still need to validate the url, and check if there is no URL given etc...
