Yes, I think it would be beneficial to at least link to the relevant perldelta document, or even have relevant points in the release mail. As the announcement is generated automatically (except for the quote), generating the perldelta link should be easy, but I'm not sure how one would go about selecting the points to include in the announcement, as the announcement shouldn't replicate the perldelta.

      Yes, I saw that. But I didn't invest in it too heavily, as it was a preview, and I thought some things might be added/dropped/changed.

      I hope he follows up with the final exposition (in case anything changed), or makes this one official. I find this a bit easier to understand than the official perldelta, though that is the reference in case of debates.

      The way my mind works, if I see some factoid that turns out not to be true, it's very hard to correct it. So I'm not terribly interested in a list of "these might happen", except as a discussion on some particular feature.
