TGI has asked for the wisdom of the Perl Monks concerning the following question:
I've got a Mason project I'm working on that uses a dbm file, through MLDBM for data persistance.
I got the tool working perfectly during testing, I thought everything was OK. Then I got to the DBM section of the mod_perl guide. Well, I need to do some file locking. Unfortuneately, it looks like the locking methods mentioned won't work with MLDBM.
Does anyone have a module or technique for this that they like?
