82000 can be broken down to 3^0 + 3^3 + 3^4 + 3^5 + 3^6 + 3^7 + 3^9 + 3^10. Ie. The sum of 8 discrete or single powers of 3.

82001 would require 2*3^0, thus a multiple of one of the powers of 3.
