PS to be clear- I was expecting quit to just terminate the ftp connection, not execution?	[reply]

You are correct in your expectation. Perhaps set a breakpoint right after the quit to see if it is really ending there. Put an `or die $ftph->message` in the troublesome statement. Dum Spiro Spero	[reply] [d/l]
