Hi .. Is there direct commands to install Perl modules through CPAN command lines ?? or what are the possible ways to uninstall the perl modules ? how can I uninstall the perl modules which are not installed from the CPAN ??

    There are scripts on CPAN which attempt to uninstall modules:

    pm-uninstall - Uninstall modules

    perlrocks - CPAN installation management

    App::cpanminus - Try cpanm --uninstall Module::Name

      This post is 13 years old. The existing reply or cpanm are likely more appealing solutions for most cases.

        Indeed they are. However, the age of Uninstall module counts somewhat in its favour in that it does not rely on cpanm or even a modern version of perl. The OP in this thread is extremely general so only the author can really say what is useful to them. After all they have not even said why they want to try uninstalling a module in the first place.

        Perhaps there would be some value in adding a node to the old thread mentioning App::pmuninstall?
