How can I tell how helpful he is from clicking on his username?
By reading the answers that he's given.
Look, you were snarky with one of the most helpful guys on this site because he misread your wordy question ("First let me tell you what's not my problem....") while trying to help you. I called you on it, as did at least one other monk. You'll see that your snarky post has a -6 rep (up from -7). That's because it was snarky and a bunch of people wanted to let you know that.
Right before you posted your snarky comment, which I called you on rather gently, I posted a nice solution to your problem. Not that I expect a thank you for sharing what I know . . . but I see that you did find time to downvote my straight-ahead reply to your penultimate clueless question.
With each reply you come off as more self-entitled and rude.
