Question is, if the dates are coming in this format: yyyy/mm/dd would the sql CONVERT work the way it has been in the sample code?	[reply]

Why don't you try that, or check it against the documentation that the vendor of your SQL server provides? Most likely, it will not work because the data does not match what the documentation of `convert()` says. But this is Perlmonks not SQLmonks, so unless your question is about Perl, there's not much more I can do here.	[reply] [d/l]
