Equivalent of grok in perl

Seems to be a combination of Regexp::Common and Named captures. This : `%{NUMBER:duration} %{IP:client}` is equivalent to something like: `$str =~ m[(?P<duration>$RE{num}{real})(?P<client>$RE{net}{IPv4})]; print "Client:$+{client} duration:$+{duration}";` [download] With the rise and rise of 'Social' network sites: 'Computers are making people easier to use everyday' Examine what is said, not who speaks -- Silence betokens consent -- Love the truth but pardon error.
