Reading this brought back some old memories. Poking an odd CP/M box that had a "C compiler". Discovering that it couldn't run a fibonacci demo program as it did not support recursion. (All variables static and no stack used I suppose.)

Not sure what I'm saying here. I see "Perl: the Markov chain saw", and then "bloody mess with flecks of horse meat". Now I'm thinking Mad Max. Now a Bantu tribesman and the IBM modem. Hmm. Where will this go?
