CrackBaby has asked for the wisdom of the Perl Monks concerning the following question:

Good day! I am reading a file that gives me a time stamp in a zulu format such as 2015-12-14T21:27:46.199Z I need this converted to my local time in a mysql type format yyyy-mm-dd hh:mm:ss I can write some basic code to format the zulu time and then subtract 8 hours to get to my timezone (pacific). But It would be nicer if there was a module set to do this. This way it will always be correct and I don't need to worry about DST twice a year, etc. Thank you.
