Thanks for the effort. About a week ago, I updated the OP, but no doubt it is easy to miss. I am now a co-maintainer. I was unable to contact the author, but I was granted permissions by the powers that be. I uploaded a new version of String::LCSS.

Yes, I've considered it, but I'm currently using a private CVS repo :( It's on my list of things to do to migrate it to git.	[reply]

I didn't miss it. I just thought the extra communication might be helpful. It turns out Daniel wants no part of the module these days and says he'll follow up.	[reply]
